Grievances and Redresses Cell


The Grievances and Redresses Cell aims at  promoting a conducive and unprejudiced educational environment. The Cell enables a student to express feelings by initiating and pursuing the grievance procedure in accordance with the rules and regulations of the College. If the Grievance is students’ personal issue, the enquiry and redresses will be done strictly in confidential manner.
The objectives of the Cell include the following:

  1. To support, those students who have been deprived of the services offered by the College, for which he/she is entitled.
  2. To make officials of the College responsive, accountable and courteous in dealing with the students.
  3. To ensure effective solution to the student's grievances with an impartial and immediate approach.
  4. To facilitate them in every aspect i.e. Academical or Administrative.
  5. To provide financial or medical aid if necessary.

Functions

  1. Redressal of Students' Grievances to solve their academic and administrative problems.
  2. To co-ordinate between students and Departments / Sections to redress the grievances.
  3. To guide ways and means to the students to redress their problems.

 

Students' Grievance Procedure

The grievance procedure is formal and non formal ways. Students can give their grievance through a letter or in oral appeal to Principal/Vice Principal/ IQAC Coordinator/ Class mentor or to whomsoever they want to say. These will be bring to the notice of Principal and he tries to solve the problem after discussing  with the people concerned and takes decision as per rules.
